Sams Indiana Travelers - Chapter #96 of the Good Sam RV Club invites all RV'ers to our next campout: August 14th to 16th, 2009.
Acorn Oaks Campground

(1 ¾ miles west of Highway 421) OR (16 miles east of EXT I-65 & ST.RD 114)
Come and enjoy the outdoors. We will camp together starting Friday. After you set up your rigs, we will gather around Sams Indiana Traveler’s campfire with our fellow campers. Bring something to cook over the fire for yourself or snacks to share. We are a friendly group who look forward to getting acquainted with you.
There are a lot of things to explore: Fishing Pond, Nature Trails, Game Room, Recreation hall, Playground, Horseshoes, Basketball and an Old Fashion Public Store.
Saturday, we will have a get-to-gather about 3:00 P.M. , a short meeting; followed by a potluck supper (Bring a main dish and a desert or salad to share). Then we’ll gather around the fire and participate in more fun. Bring anything you think the group would enjoy. We’ll play some games; or perhaps you have a musical instrument.
We will return home about noon Sunday. There are churches near by if you want to attend one. The campground has a list as well as directions to the church locations.
At the Campground there are: 20/30/50 amp electrical with sewer connections; one trailer for rent. (Clubs will receive 10% discount) Full Hookup $19 per night, and Water & Elec. $17 per night.
