School Daze Fashion Show at IU Northwest on Nov. 4

Stylish event presented by the Black Student Union and Gold Stars Club iunlogo

The Indiana University Northwest Black Student Union and the Gold Stars Club will host the School Daze Fashion Show on Thursday, Nov. 4. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. with the fashion show beginning at 7 p.m. This first annual event will occur on campus in Moraine Student Center.

Members of both campus organizations will model clothing, shoes and accessories from department store Carson Pirie Scott. Make-up artists from Origins and students from the Paul Mitchell School of Chicago will provide make-up for all models.

Tickets to the event are required and can be purchased prior to the event in Moraine Student Center from a Black Student Union or Gold Stars Club representative. IU Northwest students can purchase tickets for $3.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Tickets for the public are $5 and can be purchased at the door.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Black Student Union and the Gold Stars Club.

Event sponsors include the Black Student Union, Carson Pirie Scott, Department of Minority Studies, Gold Stars Club, Office of Student Life and Athletics, Origins, and Paul Mitchell School of Chicago.

The Moraine Student Center is located next door to the Savannah Center at the southeast corner of the main campus parking lot at 33rd Avenue and Broadway in Gary.
