Sen. Charbonneau Commends Valpo Students on AP Scores

valpo-community-schoolsState Sen. Ed Charbonneau (R-Valparaiso) made the following statement regarding the announcement that 45 Valparaiso High School students earned AP Scholar recognition:

I am extremely proud of the students at Valparaiso High School on their accomplishments and also the teachers for their excellent work in the classroom."

Because of the students’ hard work, they have laid the groundwork for future academic success. They will be able to use the analytical and writing skills learned from AP programs to hopefully earn a college degree and obtain a high-wage job in our globally competitive workforce.”

The College Board recognized the Valparaiso High School students for their achievement on college-level Advanced Placement Program Exams. Based on the scores of the exams, the 45 students may be eligible to earn multiple college credits.
