Those caring for an aging parent or spouse can learn more about services offered by Franciscan Senior Health & Wellness Dyer at a senior caregiver open house from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, June 27 at the Franciscan Health Dyer South Pavilion.
More than 20 Northwest Indiana senior service providers will be available to answer questions. The event will include a Medicaid, Medicare and estate planning presentation, along with refreshments and giveaways.
Franciscan Senior Health & Wellness Dyer includes adult day care services such as nursing; physical, occupational and recreational therapies; meals; socialization opportunities and personal care. The program is a member of the National PACE Association (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). The program’s service area includes all of Lake County.
The open house is at the South Pavilion, 2150 Gettler St., Suite 305. The entrance is located on the southwest side of Franciscan Health Dyer (Medical Pavilion South).
