Learn what and how to eat the flora of Sunset Hill Farm while also learning to identify trees by leaf, location, bark and smell.

Sunset Dog Walkers

Bring your pet on a leash for a walk on the trials at Sunset Hill Farm. Jenna will offer wellness information and encouragement.

Year Round Run Club
Every Tues. and Thurs. | 8-9 a.m. | Sunset Hill Farm | Free
Led by an experienced trail runner, you will discover the many routes Sunset Hill Farm has to offer. This program is free and open to the public. Meet in the main parking lot. Runs generally cover about five miles.

Walk Fit

Learn about eating healthier and exercising regularly in this 14- week program. Open to adults 18+

Walk Valpo 13.1 Training Program sponsored by Porter Regional Hospital

Do you want to do something amazing? You read about those athletes who run marathons and you think, "Wow, I wish I could do that". Now you can!! This (walk) training program will help you complete a half marathon---by walking it! This 12-week program, Led by Jenna Martin, RN, will guide, coach, and encourage you - helping to fulfill your goal of completing a half marathon. You too can be an athlete! You must be able to walk 3 miles in 45 minutes. Program fee includes race registration and t-shirt, weekly training schedule, check-ins, workout tips and motivational emails. The first meeting will be at Sunset Hill Farm County Park and following meetings will be at various locations.

Meet the Animals and Family Hike

Families are invited to stop by Sunset Hill Farm and meet the animals, their caretakers and participate in a short hike with our Naturalist to learn about our Park.
