The fun team at Movoto, the ones with all the unique lists, have come up with another one to stimulate discussion: The sexiest places in Indiana. Valparaiso, it turns out, comes in at No. 5 behind Evansville, Lafayette, Bloomington and Kokomo.
"To create the ranking we looked at the 50 most populous places and ranked them based on data like nightlife, lingerie stores, hotels, etc.," said Bryan Shively, part of the Movoto team.
In considering Valpo, the Movoto article states, "The city was as sultry as it sounds, from its number of massage and lingerie businesses to its adult entertainment per capita."
Nearby Merrillville came in at No. 9.
"By day it's a good old fashioned small town; by night, apparently, it's chock full of adult entertainment, nightlife and plenty of hotels to choose from," Movoto staff writer Natalie Grigson wrote of Merrillville.
Other cities on the list include Clarksville, Mishawaka, Terre Haute and Elkhart.
