The Valparaiso Parks Foundation is offering a special opportunity to purchase Faceplates that will become a permanent part of ValPLAYso – at a special holiday price. Faceplates are photographs permanently etched onto stainless plates, which will be featured at the Face Place entrance to newly re-opened ValPLAYso playground.
“Each smile brings us closer to our goal of $100,000 for the Face Place at ValPLAYso,” said Kaye Frataccia, co-chair of the ValPLAYso leadership team. ValPLAYso project has been funded through private and public partnerships. Special holiday pricing through Jan. 20, 2015 means that Faceplates range from $80 for a 2x4 inch picture to $500 for an 8x8 inch picture, making them a great gift for that special child, family, friend, or volunteer. Holiday Pricing in Effect until Jan. 20, 2015. Here’s How!

ValPLAYso has been the city’s largest community building project ever. The totally accessible new park opened in October and is already a huge hit with Valpo kids. In fact, the children of Valparaiso designed the park, which has been funded largely through community donations, and constructed by 2,973 volunteers of all ages.
