Shedd Aquarium Offers Free Admission for Furloughed Government Employees & Families

WHAT:
During the federal shutdown, Shedd Aquarium will now offer free admission to federal employees and their families. To redeem this offer, guests should show their proper federal government ID upon entry. The offer covers two adults and all children in the household under 12.

This free general admission includes full access to the aquarium, including the opportunity to see an aquatic presentation and the aquarium’s new exhibit, Underwater Beauty. 4-D experience tickets are available for purchase on-site as a ticket upgrade option.

For the duration of the federal government shutdown

PRICES:
Free for guests with a valid federal ID plus one additional adult and the children in their household under 12. To redeem this offer, guests should show their proper federal government ID upon entry.
