Congratulations to Genna Ruiz, a fourth grader in Mrs. Olson’s class, who won the school’s National Geographic Geography Bee. Genna competed against other 4th graders to be one of the 2 grade level representatives to the school’s bee. The competition consisted of 2 grade level representatives for grades 4 through 8. Genna took on all comers and won with the correct answer to a question dealing with “the country that celebrates Tet and has land within the Mekong Delta.” Genna wrote down the correct answer, Vietnam, to capture the win.
