The South Haven Boys & Girls Club recently recognized 13-year-old Tyler Goodman, a seventh grader at Willowcreek Middle School as the June Member of the Month.
Goodman was honored for his outstanding behavior and positive involvement as a junior staff member and helping out and the front desk. A Club member for five years, Tyler also enjoys spending time at home with his family and rooting for his favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts.
The Member of the Month program recognizes Club members who best represent the Club’s mission to inspire and enable the youth of our communities to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The Boys & Girls Club of Porter County provides children ages 5 to 18 with quality programming as well as a full range of daily after school activities or summer activities including homework help, games and enrichment activities that focuses on academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. They also offer an affordable annual membership of $25.00 ($20 at the Duneland Club) with Club sites located in Valparaiso, South Haven, Portage and Chesterton.
