The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority (SSCVA) is excited to announce the launch of their Summer Fun Challenge, a brand-new passport within the popular South Shore Passport app. Designed to inspire exploration and reward adventure seekers, the challenge encourages participants to check-in to Northwest Indiana destinations.
Join the challenge and you can earn a South Shore beach towel after checking into 10 designated attractions.
How to Join:
1. Download the South Shore Passport app available on the App Store and Google Play.
2. Create an account and allow location access.
3. Visit at least 10 qualifying locations under the Summer Fun Challenge passport.
4. Tap ‘Check-In Now’ at each stop — only your first visit to each location counts toward your total.
5. Redeem your beach towel reward at the Indiana Welcome Center once you have reached 10 check-ins. (7770 Corinne Drive, Hammond)
App users can also view trail maps of the Indiana Dunes & surrounding areas, view upcoming events & festivals, create a travel itinerary, find hotels, and sip along the South Shore Brewery Trail to earn more rewards.
