Boys Volleyball started in the area in late 2022 as tryouts and teams began to form. These boys compete in a league called the Indiana Boys Volleyball Coaches Association (IBVCA). This league controls the standings and rules within the region.

Launched under the guidance of the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA), this unique program merges students with intellectual disabilities—referred to as athletes—and students without disabilities—known as partners—into a single team that competes without distinction.

As the 2025 spring season approaches, teams across the Region are gearing up for another year of fierce competition. The 2025 Northern Indiana Boys and Girls Track and Field season is set to begin soon, with schools across Northern Indiana preparing for another competitive year. 

The IHSAA sports calendar marks February 17 as the first official practice date, with the first contests scheduled for March 3. The Sectional meets will occur on May 22, and Regionals will occur on May 29, culminating in the State finals on June 6.
