Spring Co-Ed Basketball Registration Now Open

BGC-logo-newParents of youth ages 5-14 interested fun and instructional athletic leagues for their children can register for the Spring co-ed youth basketball leagues at Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s Valparaiso Unit beginning February 18, 2013. The basketball league focuses on skill development, good sportsmanship and fair play. There are a limited number of available spots for each age division.

Online registration is available at www.bgcpoco.org anytime between February 18, 2013 and March 8, 2013. In-person registration will take place at the Club during on four separate dates: Wednesdays (February 20, February 27 and March 6) from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. and Fridays (February 22, March 1 and March 8) from 4-8 p.m. Early registration is encouraged as divisions do fill quickly.

All players must be members of the Club. The Boys & Girls Club of Porter County offers affordable $35.00 annual memberships. Financial aid for membership and league fees are available for those who qualify. Basketball league fees are $20.00 for the 5-7 year old division, $25.00 for the 8-9 year old and 10-11 year old divisions, and $30.00 for 12-14 year old division. Age groups limits are subject to change. League fees include a T-shirt for players in the 5-7 year old division and a basketball jersey for players in the older divisions.
