This year, the contribution has allowed the purchase of 35 Stryker Transport Chairs, which will be distributed throughout the hospital, including several at each entrance. “These chairs will provide ease of transport and comfort for our patients and visitors who have difficulty walking,” said Ryba. “Items such as these chairs are vital to maintaining our outstanding level of care.” The funds will also contribute to the purchase of new clinical laboratory equipment.

A portion of the donation will also be awarded to the St. Mary Medical Center’s Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, dedicated to students pursuing a degree in the healthcare field.

Following the check presentation, the Auxiliary held their installation of officers for the upcoming year.
