Shoulder pain is an extremely common condition affecting the musculoskeletal system. This presentation will cover some of the common causes of shoulder pain including Bursitis, rotator cuff tears, and arthritis.

St. Mary Medical Center’s Cancer Survivorship series offers informative presentations and useful resources for anyone whose life has been impacted by cancer. This ongoing series will focus on issues of living with, through and beyond cancer for newly diagnosed individuals, long-term survivors, as well as family members, loved ones and caretakers.

Nancy Beckman, Ph.D., Amy Siston, Ph.D., and Pooja N. Dave, M.A, members of the University of Chicago’s Psycho-oncology team will explore psychological issues including anxiety, depression, and coping. There will also be tips on ways to promote improved mood, health behaviors, and quality of life among cancer patients. Presentation will be held at 10am.
