St. Paul Catholic School Creates Care Packages for Porter Hospital

SPCS-Creates-Care-Packages-for-Porter-HospitalDr. Dee Dee Brogan and 5th grade student Patrick Brogan delivered a set of care packages to Porter Hospital last week. Twenty bags were created for the Pediatrics unit, with school supplies, cards, and books for patients to read during their stay. Another 25 bags were made for the Labor & Delivery unit to congratulate new big brothers and sisters on the arrival of a new sibling! The care packages were started during Catholic Schools Week in the Book Fair, and finished during Read Across America Week. We thank the Saint Paul Catholic School community for their generosity, and send a special thanks to Elaine Merkel and the Porter Hospital staff for receiving the bags so graciously. SPCS hopes they bring patients and families smiles and comfort.
