Experienced Installation/ Routing/ Painting/ Fabrication & Service Tech

Individuals in these positions must be creative, energetic, responsible, good with customers, and communicate well with other employees. Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sign industry and must have a valid driver’s license. CDL is a plus for service techs.

Lead Installer and Service Tech

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Installation of signs in the ground
  • Pole-mounted signs
  • Channel letters on buildings, banners
  • Change ballasts, transformers, and power supplies
  • Parking lot lighting (120V-480V)
  • LED conversions

Qualifications and Skills

  • Use of bucket trucks and tools
  • Reading a tape measure
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Know how to read a voltmeter

Routing: Set up files for routing of all different types of material. Acrylic, wood, foam, soft metals (alucobond/ alumalite), aluminum, and more.

Painting: Understand the proper techniques for prepping and painting signs. Do sanding, priming, and finish paint (spray). This includes channel letters, sign cabinets, post, sign faces, foam, acrylic, and miscellaneous substrates.

Fabrication

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Fabricate signs from designs and layouts
  • Welding aluminum and steel
  • Building channel letter
  • Installation of fluorescent tubes and LED's
  • Working with electrical tools, hand tools, shears, and brakes
  • Building signs from wood, foam, aluminum, steel, and plastics

Hours: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Salesperson

This commission-based position allows you to make as much money as you want. It includes cold call as well as lead generations.

Office/Administrative Assistant

This position contributes to the efficiency of day-to-day operations at Steindler Signs & Graphix. Duties include general customer service, accounts receivable, and administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform administrative functions including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phones, sending and receiving correspondence, typing, copying, and managing documents/filing
  • Perform accounts receivable functions including invoicing, ensuring payments are received promptly, and processing of payments
  • Assist Project/Office Manager in various daily operations
  • Maintain office equipment and company office cleanliness
  • Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties.
  • Assisting with permits
  • Project management

As a Graphic Designer, your primary responsibility will be to create computer-generated full-color graphics and output vinyl that can be weeded, cut, and applied, or printed and mounted to various products from cars to substrates to buildings. Your job will involve various levels of artistic creativity and you may interact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with the final product.
