STEM Mentor Program Information Night–May 17th

disc-unlimDiscoveries Unlimited is hosting an informational meeting on their STEM Mentor program for incoming 6th, 7th, & 8th grade girls their parents/guardians on May 17, 2011 at the United Way of Porter County Office (951 Eastport Centre Drive, Valparaiso) from 6:30 pm -7:30 p.m.

Middle school aged girls and their parents/guardians are invited to get to know Discoveries Unlimited staff and Mentors and learn more about participating in the career mentoring program.

Discoveries Unlimited is a non-profit organization dedicated to mentoring middle school girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The STEM Mentor program pairs middle schools girls with STEM industry professional in one-on-one mentor teams with the goal of encouraging and supporting our girls' interests in STEM education and careers, fostering lifelong STEM learners.
