How you can help
The Indiana Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives encourage all Hoosiers wanting to help, to consider making donations to The American Red Cross.
To contribute, go to www.redcross.org, call (800) RED CROSS (800-733-2767) or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
Contributions may also be sent to local Red Cross chapters.
“As you are mindful of the Hoosier families affected, and those across the midwest, please be reminded that the re-building process will take time,” said Jim Huston, Executive Director of the Indiana OFBCI. “I will again be in touch with you to offer more suggestions of ways you may help, including ways to assist the many faith and community organizations who partner with Indiana in time of disaster. Please keep our first responders in your thoughts and prayers.”
