If you are a tech geek like me, you have been reading the rumors for quite a while that are whipping into a frenzy ahead of today's Apple Inc. launch of their tablet computer Wednesday. It may be called the iSlate, iTablet, iPad, iCoolest Thing Ever, or something similar. There have been sneak peeks, confirmations on CNBC, FB and Twitter feeds, WSJ reports, and a Mashable channel devoted entirely to minute by minute updates prior to and after the announcement.
Apple sent out a statement urging media to "come see our latest creation" at an event in San Francisco on Jan. 27, but as it typical for them, did not divulge much more.
