Walkers Raise $3500 for Breast Cancer
Once again this year, the Valparaiso Police Department organized a team to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Cancer Walk. This year officers, department employees, family members of officers and friends of the department participated on the team. A total of 40 individuals participated on the Valparaiso Police Department’s Team.
Team members collected pledges for the walk and a total of $3,500 was raised for the Cancer Society. The event was held on Sunday October 16th.
