Teams are needed to celebrate, remember and fight back at Relay For Life of Greater Valparaiso, a fun-filled event that raises community awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society. Anyone who wants to learn more about organizing a team is urged to attend the Relay team meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at St. Mary's Medical Center, 3800 Saint Mary Road (near the southeast corner of SR-49 and Burlington Beach Road, use south entrance) in Valparaiso.
The 2016 Relay For Life of Greater Valparaiso will be an indoor event with music, food and games from noon to midnight May 14 in the field house at Thomas Jefferson Middle School, 1600 Roosevelt Road in Valparaiso. Register a team and check for updates at www.relayforlife.org/valpoin.
