Ten Duneland Elementary winners and their alternates gathered at Brummitt Elementary for a district wide spelling bee on Friday.

The overall Duneland spelling bee winner was Justine Keiser of Liberty Elementary and runner-up was Karina Hanson of Jackson The five individual elementary school winners will represent the Duneland Schools in the Porter County fourth grade competition to be hosted on Wed., May 9, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. Ben Franklin M.S. in Valparaiso.
