Culver’s of Schererville has partnered with Lowell High School FFA as part of a larger, nationwide effort to thank the family farmers on which the restaurants depend. On Saturday, September 19th, 2015, Culver’s of Schererville will donate a percent of its sales to the chapter. Through the Thank You, Farmers partnership, participating restaurants across the U.S. will help spread awareness and generate support for the nation’s hardworking farmers.
"Culver’s restaurants as a whole have depended on family farms since the first restaurant opened in 1984," says Culver’s of Schererville owner John gates. "Hosting this share night is our way of demonstrating our appreciation and offering our support to the hardworking farm families on which we rely."
On this date, we will feature RED & GREEN tractors-vote for your favorite one for a chance to win dinner for four! We will also have a Petting Zoo, Pedal Tractor Races, and lots of fun games & activities for the whole family to enjoy!
Lowell High School FFA helps this next generation meet the challenges of feeding a growing population by encouraging members to develop their own unique talents and explore their agricultural interests in a broad range of career pathways -- from future farmers to biologists to veterinarians.
Culver’s of Schererville takes pride in being an active member of the community by supporting local charities and organizations since 2005.
"Culver’s has long been an active supporter of family farms and we understand that family farms have truly helped make us what we are today," said Craig Culver, Co-founder of Culver’s. "Coming from a place of this deeply rooted value, celebrating and supporting the FFA just feels right."
