The 2040 Comprehensive Regional Plan for Northwest Indiana Needs Public Input

I have been a member of the 2040 Comprehensive Regional Plan Steering Committee of the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission since its inception almost 2 years ago and have been working diligently along with various other members of the committee to solicit public input throughout the process.

We are nearing a critical stage in the development of the plan and are requesting further public input. The staff at NIRPC (Northwest Indiana Regional Plan Commission) is asking that any groups who would like to schedule a presentation about the plan direction to this point to please contact Hubert Morgan at hmorgan@nirpc.org or 219/763-6060.

The next Steering Committee public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 25 at 9:00AM at the Northern Indiana Regional Plan Commission office, 6100 Southport Road, Portage, IN 46368 (at the northwest corner of Interstate 94 and Indiana State Road 249.
