The Hobart Chamber of Commerce will celebrate a successful 2014 on February 12, 2015, at the Hobart Community Center, 111 East Old Ridge Road, 5-7pm. The following awards will be received:
2014 Longevity Award: Krull Surveying, Inc (100 years) and the Hobart Lions Club (85 years) and Ginter Realty for 50 years in 2015.
2014 Non-Profit of the Year Award: Hobart Family YMCA
2014 Volunteer of the Year Award: Theodore Eckels of Eckels & Company CPA’s
2014 Business of the Year Award: Cagney’s Saloon
2014 Business Person of the Year: Chris Mahlmann of Ideas in Motion Media
2014 Mayor’s Choice Award: Paragon Restaurant
2014 was a very successful year led by 2014 Hobart Chamber of Commerce President Dee Bedella of St. Mary Medical Center. Chairperson Chris Perez of Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance promises a fun evening of celebration and networking. “Something new we are doing this year is recognizing our 4th of July Parade Grand Marshals Paul and Ruth Throne,” Perez stated.
Service Doctor and U-Cook will be providing the food with a pasta buffet, salad, and desert included. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 or $25 at the door if available.
