The Lakes of Valparaiso: You Have to See It to Believe It

On a recent tour of Valparaiso’s newest apartment community, The Lakes of Valparaiso, what stands out the most is the attention to detail that has gone into creating the one-of-a-kind community that balances the busy, city lifestyle with the beautiful, rural Indiana setting upon which the community sits.

While there are only 60 of the eventual 407 total apartments occupied right now, the sense of community is already growing at The Lakes where residents are gathering for events hosted at the spacious, well-equipped Clubhouse.

“We’ve already began holding resident events,” said Angela Fielder, Vice President of Real Estate Operations for Weiss Entities.

“We typically do anywhere from two to four events per month and some of them are small but we’re seeing that people are getting involved.”

The word most people have used to describe The Lakes of Valparaiso is ‘resort’ and with the broad range of amenities and services available to residents, along with the style, decor, and atmosphere that has been generated, the moniker is quite fitting.

“We have a concierge and she puts all of the events together as well,” said Fielder. “If you need your dry cleaning taken care of she can do that and if you need really anything, like a dinner reservation, she’s there. We also have a notary public so if you need something notarized you can come down and we can do that.”

“If you think about a really nice hotel, isn’t it great if you forget something you can call down to the front desk and ask for it? That’s sort of how we like to operate. Everyone is working and is busy so when you come home we want it to be nice and relaxing.”

The pool is equipped with a heated swimming pool with wet ledge, foot bubblers, a lane for swimming laps and cabanas. The outdoor living area includes a dining/living room, 3 commercial Weber grills, fire tables, an 80 inch TV and movie projector.

The Clubhouse houses a gourmet cooking kitchen which will be used to host cooking classes, a conference room which can be reserved by residents, pool table and shuffleboard, TV setup with X-Box One, Playstation 4 and Wii U, and a fully furnished gym featuring Wellbeats which can be used for fitness, Pilates, and Yoga.

The apartments come as equipped as you would like and a layout to make the absolute best use of the space in each unit. Sizes of each of the one, two and three bedroom units varies with different floor plans and, for a little more privacy, there are attached garages to several units in each building.

Seeing is believing and to believe all the amazing things living at The Lakes of Valparaiso has to offer, you have to see it.
