The Northwest Indiana Symphony Chorus Presents Salute to Veterans

The Northwest Indiana Symphony Chorus, under the direction of Thomas
McNichols, present Salute to Veterans, Sunday, November 13 at 3pm at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Avenue, Munster.

"The Symphony Chorus will share some wonderful patriotic standards including America The Beautiful, God Bless America, and The Battle Hymn of the Republic, alongside modern works: America Anthem, In Flanders Fields, and The Armed Forces Salute,” Director McNichols said.

“We hope you'll join us as we pay homage to those who have so bravely served our country."

Tickets for the concert are general admission and are $25 for adults and students are $10. Veterans can receive free tickets through the Vet Tix organization (vettix.org).

The Northwest Indiana Symphony Chorus is comprised of gifted singers from the Chicagoland area who share their talents with the Symphony on a volunteer basis. Established in 1987, the Symphony Chorus has performed with the Symphony in everything from Requiems to Reggae. This talented group is the choral component of the Symphony Society, providing added texture and versatility to the Symphony’s performance repertoire. Singers 17 years of age and older are eligible to audition.
