The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra Begins Their Season with West Side Story in Concert

The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra, and Music Director and Conductor Kirk Muspratt, begins their 2022-2023 season with West Side Story in concert, Thursday, October 13 and Friday, October 14 at Living Hope Church, 9000 Taft Street, Merrillville/Crown Point and Saturday, October 15 at Valparaiso High School, 2727 N Campbell Street, Valparaiso.

Experience the music and magic of Leonard Bernstein and Jerome Robbins' contemporary retelling Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet that won two Tony awards and ten Oscars! Guest vocalists will be dressed in costumes and will perform all the songs including Jet Song, Something's Coming, Maria, Tonight, America, Cool, One Hand, One Heart, I Feel Pretty, Somewhere, Gee, Officer Krupke and A Boy Like That

Guest vocalists are Matthew Greenblatt (Tony), Katelyn Lee (Maria), Jonathan Wilson (Riff), Kate Tombaugh (Anita), Susan Nelson, Molly Chesna, Jennifer Barrett, Colleen Ortega, Ryan Morrison, Aaron Wardell, Chris Jackson, and Reuben Lillie.

There will be an opening night, pre-concert party before the Thursday, October 13 performance at Innsbrook Country Club in Merrillville from 4:30 – 6:45pm. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and dessert will be served with an open bar. Individual reservations are $125 and tables are available for groups.

Tickets for the concert range from $40 -$75 each and students are $10.
