The Party Continues at Industrial Revolution

Industrial Revolution Eatery and Grille in Valparaiso was packed on Friday night. It was filled with people ready to party! This comes as no surprise as Industrial Revolution is an awesome restaurant, but Friday night was an extra special night.

The Keystone Light Friends of The BOB & TOM Show Comedy Tour after party was going on that night, and people came from all over to have a great time at a great eatery. The reason for the after party was that The Keystone Light Friends of The BOB & TOM Show Comedy Tour was hosting two shows that same night at the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso, and so people who attended the first show could continue to rock into the night at Industrial Revolution or get ready there for the second show.

X-Rock 103.9, a regional radio station owned by Adams Radio Group that plays fantastic classic rock tunes, was broadcasting live inside Industrial Revolution with host KB (Karl Berner) at the helm.

"We wanted to extend an opportunity to our listeners to come and hang out and meet some of the X-Rock 103.9 personalities and have some fun with Industrial Revolution," KB said. "We love working with them. I love the decor in here. It's so unique and it pays attention to a period that is the Industrial Revolution. Plus, their food is fantastic. They have unbelievable burgers and great sandwiches and entrees."

All sorts of great things were happening at the after party. Prizes were given away every 10 minutes, and the first 100 lucky arrivals received an awesome Swag Bag filled with cool goodies. A special X-Rock Burger was available in honor of the radio station and let me tell you friends, it was DELICIOUS.

The waitstaff was on top of things as they helped guests with their orders, moving through the room in a quick and practiced motion. They chatted and laughed with their guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable. Ken Churchill, General Manager, was in the thick of things, making sure that everything was running smoothly and enjoying the classic rock music that pumped out of the large speakers that the radio station had set up.

"We at Industrial Revolution have always been big fans of The BOB & TOM Show and X-Rock 103.9 and it's great to have X-Rock here," Churchill said. "I love the music and I love the people. They have been great tonight. It's a Friday night and the restaurant is full. It's a beautiful thing. If I could have X-Rock here every night I would. They are awesome to work with. Our guests are having a good time, the music is great, and I couldn't be happier!"

Those who came out to the after party made a great choice that night. It's neat to see two great entities working together for the betterment of the region. If you missed the festivities you can still come to Industrial Revolution and have a delicious meal anytime, and on your way there you can flip on your radio and listen to X-Rock 103.9.
