The World’s First Baby LIFER!

baby-shoesJust about everyone knows that Ideas in Motion Media is about sharing GOOD news. We are the positive-only news source that anyone can go to for great news about local people and local happenings.

Are you ready to hear some NEW news? One of our Lady Lifers, Deanna Grimes, is going to be welcoming the first Baby Lifer this October!

"I am very excited to be a mom," Deanna said. "I have a very close relationship with my own mom so it's very exciting to think I will be someone's mom."

deanna-jasonMany of you know Deanna and her father-to-be Jason Dageforde. Deanna is an avid runner in NWI and she is heavily involved with everything that we do at Ideas in Motion Media. As a face for LIFE, Deanna is often in the public eye. With a little one on the way, she shared her thoughts that run through her mind on being public with her journey to mommyhood.

"The most challenging part is probably that I'm sharing such a personal journey that can sometimes be scary," she admitted. "But I think the best part is other moms will be able to read this and relate to so much of what is happening to me. Also, women and maybe even men who don't have children could learn a lot from reading my journey."

Deanna and Jason haven't picked out names yest but they do know that if it's a boy then the first name needs to start with a "J" and the middle name with a "M". This way, he will share the same initials with his dad and grandpa.

Curiosity is piquing as Deanna pictures the face of her baby (She states that her family has strong genes). Either way this little bundle is going to be a cutie.

Speaking of family, Deanna and Jason have a huge network of supporters including family, friends, and her LIFE family that she sees throughout the week at 5 Napoleon Street.

"Jason and I are so lucky! Our families are so amazing," Deanna exclaimed. "However, our families live four hours away in Ohio and our 2nd "families" here in Northwest Indiana have been so great! I am so thankful for them."

And seeing as how what we do isn't quite the same as what everyone else does, Deanna is in a unique spot. She is excited and proud to bring a new addition into the LIFE family.

"The BEST part of being a LIFER is that you are always a LIFER. I know that no matter what happens there is a place for me at the LIFE sites! I can't wait to see what the future brings," Deanna said in closing.
