Dress as a Holy Saint or an Infamous Sinner and win prizes at three extraordinary Halloween events which will be held at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Hall on Saturday, October 27th.
The Children’s Party begins at noon and goes until 4p.m. with a cash prizes for kid's best costumes at 3:30p.m. Children’s activities will be directed by Dynamic Music, professionals in children’s entertainment for over 12 years!
An All Saints Dinner will be served from 5p.m. to 7p.m. with live music from Grammy Contender Keenan Baxter on keyboards. Ignite your sense of touch, taste, and sound with some much deserved Halloween getaway, delicious bites, and enchanting sounds performed live by Keenan Baxter from Valparaiso. Keenan will be featuring music from popular movies, some popular rock songs, and his own jazz and blues originals. “Keenan’s music is a perfect fit for Dinner hour, after five years at Whiting’s popular Pierogi Festival, folks love his music,” stated vendor Father Steven from St. Mary’s Byzantine Church.
The Adult’s Party begins at 7p.m. with cash prizes for costumes for adult costumes selected at 9p.m. and goes until 11p.m. There will be a DJ for dancing, a cash bar for wine and beer and food will be available for purchase as well.
There's a $2 entrance fee for all three events. Food available for purchase is catered by Lynethe’s Deli and Café from Whiting. The Church Hall address is 2202 Davidson Place, Whiting Indiana and can be reached at 659-0277. Davidson is one way south, located just one block East of the Whiting Community Center.
