rot10Spend one Thursday evening each month during the spring semester in the shadowy world of noir, with hard-boiled detectives and femme fatales, hoods and hit-men, and capers gone haywire!

The series will feature four iconic films representing distinct themes and eras of film noir:

January 22: Stranger on the Third Floor (1940)
February 19: Murder, My Sweet (1944)
March 19: The Big Combo (1955)
April 16: Odds Against Tomorrow (1959)

Each film screening will be followed with a presentation/discussion by Peter Aglinskas, Indiana University Northwest Department of Fine and Performing Arts faculty member and creator of the lecture series "The Noir Style in Image, Word and Sound."

Each screening starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Brauer Museum of Art and is free and open to the public.
