Each year, Tim and Debbie look forward to their Santa circuit at various nursing homes, community centers and even orphanages. Along the way, they make their annual visit to Opportunity Enterprises a priority, because of the enormous impact Opportunity Enterprises has had on their lives.
Eight years ago some friends told Tim about OE, and his life has never been the same since. With the help of our JobSource program, Tim found employment at Family Express. Together, he and his Employment Consultant worked on things like resume writing, the job application process, interview skills and job training. His wife, Debbie, also received employment assistance from OE's JobSource program. She has held her job at a local hotel for six years now.
The JobSource team didn't stop there. Once Tim and Debbie were successfully employed, JobSource continued to assist with financial training and budgeting, helped them connect with other community services, and provided great encouragement and support. Tim and Debbie now give back to others in need and those with disabilities, and truly believe that they have been blessed in order to be a blessing to others.
When asked to describe how OE has changed his life, Tim just said, "They're amazing! Wonderful." We think the same thing about Tim and Debbie.
