The Region Rat Rollers derby team celebrated Thomas Jefferson Science Olympiad's state title and upcoming trip to Nationals. The Rollers gave swappables to the team to trade with other states.
In June, TJ's team looks forward to supporting RRR when they compete at Valparaiso University.
The Region Rat Rollers is Northwest Indiana's first women's roller derby league, representing The Region, which is the vast yet communal area of both Lake & Porter counties combined. They are a group of hardworking, independent, passionate, charismatic, and fully motivated women who are dedicated to their sport, their community and each other. Their hearts are just as big as their efforts, both on and off the track. They volunteer their time in helping not only their league to succeed, but their community as well.
