The Valparaiso Vikings beat the Chesterton Trojans 14-7 and claimed the sectional champion title.
Valparaiso Parks Popcorn Panic 2022
A Valpo Tradition Unlike Any Other!
Join the 44th running of the Popcorn Panic. A community tradition of four decades, this event has over 1,000 participants annually, running and walking through the city of Valparaiso. Choose to run 5 miles, or shorten it up with the 5k run/walk.
Gymnastics IHSAA Regionals 2022
Valparaiso High School hosted the Gymnastics Regional Championship on March 5. There was a great display of athleticism all afternoon from these ladies. Ultimately, Valparaiso took home the Regional trophy with a score of 113.3! Full team scores are as follows:
Valparaiso: 113.3; Crown Point: 112.7; Lake Central: 109.85; Harrison: 106.75; Lafayette Jefferson: 101.45; Fishers: 98.825.

Valpo Parks Lit'l Kernel Puff Run 2022
Kids ages 2-9 years old can join the Popcorn Festival fun with this unique kid-friendly race in Downtown Valparaiso. Kids run 100 – 300 yard events; distance varies by age group. Everyone receives a t-shirt and participation ribbon.

Northwest Health – Porter Trunk or Treat 2022
Northwest Health showed appreciation to their dedicated team members with Trunk-or-Treats at their Northwest Health – La Porte and Porter locations. The events featured fun-filled activities including face painting, balloon animals, and of course Halloween decorated cars filled with candy and treats for the kids.
