The Duneland Chamber of Commerce is offering a pair of opportunities...and asking one favor.
Let's begin with the opportunities. This Friday, Gary Brownlee from the Indiana Small Business Development Center will be holding open office hours here at the Chamber. From Noon - 2:00 pm, Gary will be offering free, one-on-one, confidential consulting to help entrepreneurs through the process of starting or growing their businesses. Many of our members have met with Gary already, and benefited from his expertise in: accounting and record keeping; business acquisition and sale; business start-up; cash flow analysis; financial and business analysis; human resources management; loan packaging; market research; marketing and sales; operations; sources of credit and financing; strategic planning; and technology transfer.
To learn more about Gary's organization, please visit www.nwisbdc.org. To sign up for a slot this Friday, please respond directly to this message.
Second opportunity: Our State of the Chamber community awards event is coming up soon, and you have the opportunity to nominate your local heroes for seven different prestigious awards: Putting Duneland on the Map; Business Renovation; New Construction; Humanitarian of the Year; Volunteer of the Year; Golden Achievement and the Duneland Distinguished Woman Award.
And finally, dear Chamber members - a favor. Every year, your Chamber partners with local communities to host the Fireworks on the Lakefront event - an extraordinary celebration which benefits over 13,000 Duneland community members. We've never asked for donations before, but this year we're in need of a bit of help to make sure the event is as dynamic and family-friendly as on previous occasions.
We're asking you to show the love for your community fireworks celebration by clicking the following link and making a donation - every dollar of which will support the operations of your Fireworks on the Lakefront event! Click HERE to donate now!
