Two-part Workshop Outlines QuickBooks Essentials

nwi-sbdcThe Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center is offering a two-session QuickBooks Essentials Part One workshop from 9 a.m. to noon two Saturdays May 7 and 14 at the Purdue University Calumet Academic Learning Center, 9900 Connecticut Drive, in Room 221.

Facilitator Anna Sheets, of Accounting Made Simple, will outline core bookkeeping functions for new and frequent QuickBooks users. Class topics include: getting started, navigating QuickBooks, managing lists, working with bank accounts, recording sales, receiving payments, making deposits and entering and paying bills. Participants receive class materials and instructor follow-up.
