Uptown East Apartment Tenants Move In as Construction Completes

Driving down Lincolnway, you will surely notice the construction taking place near the Uptown East complex, neighboring Uptown Café just north of the Valparaiso University campus and the old Porter Hospital building.

The construction is for the newly completed second building of the Uptown East Apartments, completed just in time for the new school year for Valparaiso University students.

With over 100 students moving in on Monday, August 15, 2011, the Uptown East crew had been working day in and day out to get the building completed in time for the big moving day. Free Hungry Howie’s pizza greeted the new tenants of the luxury apartment complex, along with help from the Purdue North Central baseball team, who all helped move in the new occupants.

The new units are spacious and luxurious, offering all of the same amenities as all of the Uptown East tenants enjoy, including having the ease of paying all of the bills with just one check.

With the finishing touches just around the corner, like the new parking lot, set to be completed on Tuesday August 16, Uptown East residents will be all set in their new digs.
