We will also be displaying these adorable pictures in our lobby until the end of the month. Let the contest begin!

Rachel Woodside: Hi every one! We are the proud daughters of Rachel! Our names are Chelsea Marie and Hannah Banana! We love our Momma- she's the best! Chelsea Marie is my sweet little Angel and my Protector. She is a beagle/lab mix. I fell in love with her 3.5 years ago when her old owner could no longer provide for her. Of course I couldn't say no to that precious face! Hannah and I wouldn't be complete with out her! Chelsea keeps us all in line! She's a snuggle bug for sure and I wouldn't have it any other way! Chelsea about 5-7 years old we guess, but is still my baby at heart!

Hannah Banana my 7 year old Boston terrier mix. She is one crazy lady and keeps Chelsea and I on our toes and most definitely keeps us young! Little Hannah came to me 7 years ago just as a tiny tiny baby that fit in my two palms, and I have never stopped loving her! She makes me smile and laugh every day with her crazy little personality! Everyone who meets her just falls in love and asks if she's a puppy due to her large personality. I just love my girls SO much and couldn't imagine life without my two daughters. They keep me smiling and laughing when life gets tough! Chelsea, Hannah and I are a complete happy family! AND are also proud to say we're officially NEW clients at Vale Park !! We're so excited! Vote for Hannah and Chelsea here!

Lauren Davis: That's Brian! He loves attention, especially a nice scratch on the rear, which is extra cute because he does a little dance because he loves it so much! He also believes he is about 3 times smaller than he is, so he is always trying to fit on the couch and his brother's much smaller cuddler. He is a super sweet dog and loves to wear my scarf. Vote for Brian here!

Susan: I love my horse Pandora because the lessons I have learned from her make me a better person. *If you look closely, she even has a heart on her forehead!* Vote for Pandora here!

Jaclyn Rodriguez: Meet my five kids, Leggo, Rocco, Dexter Morgan, Tyler, and Hondo! There are to many reasons to even list why I love them all SO much, but the biggest reason is they give me a reason to smile each and every day! I don't know what I would do without all of my babies! Vote for Leggo, Rocco, Dexter Morgan, Tyler, and Hondo here!

Holly Grunwell: This is Maize:) he is 6 yrs old. His mom was rescued while pregnant with him and his litter mates:) he definitely has quite the personality, he likes to have his presense known:) He is our 3 yr old daughters best friend and my baby. Vote for Maize here!

Sheri Wilkes: My Roxie... she is such a good girl! Vote for Roxie here!

Kathy Defries: Meet Boo Boo Kitty. We rescued her 4 years ago as a matted mess who was found wandering. There is no end to her lively personality. She loves attention, sitting on laps, and bossing our our other 2 dogs around. Vote for Boo Boo Kitty here!

Norma: Hello world!! This is Fluke Douglas. He's a 2 year old American Bully/Boxer mix. As a veterinary assistant at Vale Park he was my patient in trouble that was rescued through Lakeshore PAWS. After a few weeks of taking care of Fluke he became part of our family. He brings so much joy & happiness. And Oh Boy, does he like to dance. Vote for Fluke here!

Emily Jones: This is Ivy, our yellow Labrador girl. She's not sure she's all that fond of baths. We're pretty fond of her though. She likes: snow, celery, the UPS delivery man, crunchy leaves, hiding under things, and music (mostly Fleet Foxes and opera). She's afraid of large boxes and the dishwasher detergent bottle. Vote for Ivy here!

Sara Clifford Goodman: This is our Lily. We rescued her about 7 years ago. She came to us with a broken jaw which healed up pretty well, thankfully. A couple of years ago she had a disc rupture in her neck which required surgery at Purdue and an 8 day stay followed by 8 WEEKS of kennel rest! She now thoroughly enjoys her laser therapy sessions at VPAH (and adores Conn). You'd never know most days that she's been through so much as you watch her tail wag so fast that it's a blur! Vote for Lily here!

This was sent to us by Mr. Phill! This is Fang. My wife found Fang laying in the gutter of Hohman Ave in Hammond in June of 2011. He's about 15 now, and he got his name from the fang tooth he had stick out. That tooth has since fallen out, but he still has plenty of personality. Vote for Fang here!

Lori Worline: This is Winnie Winston aka Winnie and Winston's Christmas picture. Well one of them. You can see who the ham is ... clearly! Vote for Winston and Winnie here!

Rudelle Crowley: Hi everyone! Meet Betsy, Maisie , Abigail, Winnie, Nala, Lily, Ada, Bendrix, and Mog. We are truly a pug loving family. All of our children have their own pugs. This was taken at a Holiday time when we were all together, which is very rare these days. Pugs are happy, people loving, and unique. They all have their own individual personality and are very easy to tell apart. Betsy is the oldest. She is almost 12 and the matriarch of our pug family. She started it all. Vote for the pugs here!

Kathy Defries: Moosa is a sweetheart ! When my husband adopted him from the Porter County Shelter 3 years ago he was a scared & timid pup. He came out of his shell playing with our other 2 dogs and lots of love! He loves toys, playing, being in the water, and Food. He is a great friend! Vote for Moosa here!

Dan McGuire: Hello Everyone! I would like for you to meet Neela. Neela is a 4 month old German Shepherd who has been the highlight of my new year! Neela seems to amaze me everyday with her smarts, looks (got to love her ears!!) and love for everyone. She has not yet met a stranger weather it's another dog, cat or human. She is just full of love! She is a pup still and enjoys getting into things, of course. Funny thing is she knows it and likes to give the look that she is caught and then run to the closest bed and dive under it as her hiding spot, then peek her head out to see if you're looking! Can't beat a funny and loving dog like Neela. Vote for Neela here!

Tracy Catsadimas: This is our dog Lucy. Lucy came to us at a very special time. My husband and I had lost our previous dog Chloe and were having a difficult time adjusting to a life without our constant companion. I have to say that Lucy picked me. She came from a litter of nine and the minute I picked her up, I was hooked. She was the runt and had a difficult start but has more than made up for it since. She has filled our lives with so much love. She has the sweetest disposition, always happy to see you and more than willing to give you kisses. We would be completely lost without her in our lives. Vote for Lucy here!

Marilyn Gaza: These are my rescue brothers Flash and Cliffy. As the picture shows, they're inseparable even when sleeping. They come to work with me every day and truly rule the office! They're our official greeters, security squad and comfort-givers. At the end of their busy work day all they want to do is chase squirrels then zonk out on their big green bed. My best buddies! Vote for Flash and Cliffy here!

Perry Stone: Knight is a rescue dog found on the streets of Gary, Indiana. Knight was abused before being adopted, but has such a good heart, he never stopped loving children, people, and other animals. Knight has brought a lot of love into our family and the neighborhood kids love him too. Knight was sent to Purdue University Animal hospital in 2011 due to a large growth in his belly (spleen) found by Dr. Kim. My family prepared for the worst and thought we would probably lose this special dog, but we had to try. After a difficult surgery (Splenectomy with a large tumor) and a week at Purdue, Knight recovered and is back playing with the neighborhood kids and chasing the little laser light around the house...lol. He is a loving dog, and a very good boy. He is my best friend:) Vote for Knight here!

Cindy Kennedy-Cable: Kracker came into our lives when he was 1 year old. he is a rescue from Texas ..we have had him 9 years. He loves travelling in the car, playing with his monkey, and is always happy and prancing around. Kracker loves everyone!!! he loves playdates with all different kinds of animals. He definitely changed our mind about chihuahuas! he's the best little dog in the world!! Vote for Kracker here!

Arlene Storer: This is our Minnie and Sally checking out the squirrels in the backyard. February 9, is their 15th and 10th birthday respectively. Minnie loves going to see Dr Jerry or Dr Randi as they give out good liver treats. Vote for Minnie and Sally!

Linda: This is Maggie my Golden Retriever. She’s not only a heroine but also my Guardian Angel. On September 15th of 2012 , a car literally drove through the front of our house. Just a few seconds before this happened Maggie kept nudging me to let her out again. We no sooner headed for the back door when the car drove into my living room where I was previously sitting. This could have been a really bad outcome for both of us. But Thanks to her we are both here today. How can you not LOVE a dog like this! Vote for Maggie here!

Amanda Brooke: Meet Bentley (Bubs for short), a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier who's 75lbs of pure love and snuggles. He was gifted to me from a breeder in Georgia for protection after I went through a traumatizing experience when my former neighbor pulled a gun on me. Bentley has gone through extensive training to become the face of what a bully breed dog should look like. When he isn't snuggling up with the kittens at home or running with his buddies in the dog park, he likes to spend his time hanging out with the residents at the nursing home. Although I still suffer from PTSD, Bubs has a way of helping me manage by making me feel safe again. Well mannered, very loyal, loving and dependable. That is what a best friend is to me. Vote for Bentley here!

Leslie Sisson: This is my greyhound Ziggy (known to some as the Terrorist). He is a rescue that we fostered when he failed racing as a pup. He is 6 years old. Last year he started having seizures and has recently been recovering from an injury. Thanks to you - He is recovering nicely. He has attempted counter surfing and can stretch very well. We love him dearly. Vote for Ziggy here!

Tanya Davis: This is Yoshi "Maximus" Davis with his princess, Miss Tenley. He received his middle name from the funny horse in the movie Tangled because he acts just as silly and makes us laugh everyday. He is a 10lb dog trapped in a 100lb body! :) We truly love our Yoshi! Vote for Yoshi here!

Jo Ann Goss: This is Cherie Amour, our baby girl. We are happy to report Cherie did not receive coal in her stocking because she is always good. Cherie will "fetch" my husband for me. All I have to say is "Go get Dad." She is named after an old Stevie Wonder song and she is our beloved friend. Vote for Cherie Amour here!

Phil Peterson: This is Maverick Rastovic. What makes him so special is that he's not even our dog: we met him when we moved in 6.5 years ago. He's 135 lbs of lovable protection! This dog is one of the best dogs I've ever known. He's very well trained, lots of personality, and smart. I've seen a deer running down the street, and he stands at his property line barking, since he isn't allowed in the street. His owners leave him out when they go, since he is so well behaved. One night, it was his dinner time, so he comes over to my wife in our yard, grabs her hand in his mouth, leads her to his garage, then knocks the lid off his bucket of food and looks up at her. He could have knocked the lid off himself and chowed down, but that wouldn't be the right way to do it. He wanted to be fed! Vote for Maverick here!

Ashlee Turner: Meet my dog Mouse! I adopted her from the chihuahua rescue three years ago. How can I even put into words how much I love her or why she is so special, if you've ever met her you'd just know. She'll make you smile with her little bark which can only be described as a baby cry. She'll warm your heart when she buries into you while cuddling. She'll make you laugh by carting her toys around that aren't much bigger than her and she'll change your mind about chihuahuas and rescue dogs if you don't already love them. She's perfect. Vote for Mouse here!

Danielle Gingrich: This is Cooper, a goldendoodle, & Mira, a cockapoo. We love them because they are just the sweetest guy & gal. Cooper is a great running buddy & Mira is a great cuddler. Vote for Cooper and Mira here!

Andrew Tkacs: This is my boy Rommel. I've had him since May. He was born in AL and lived the majority of his life thus far in Nashville, TN. I adopted him from a very special lady at the SPCA of TN. When he first came in to my life, he was very diffident, anxious, and nervous dog plus a little chubby. Now, he is much stronger, much goofier, and in much better shape. I feel like I've had him since he was a young puppy. I love coming home to him. He's my son, and I don't know what I'd do without him. Vote for Rommel here!

This is my Kaiser. I've had him since he was 8.5 weeks old. What else can I say about him other than he is my son. He has changed the way I look at the world, and what I place importance on. He is such a God send. He is my pride and joy and protector. He has saved me from personal injury on multiple occasions without even the slightest indication by me to do so. He is so smart. I'm waiting for him to start speaking when I get home from work. I love him with all my heart. Vote for Kaiser here!

Ariel Lytwakiwsky: This is Sterling, our 5 month old Silver Lab :) This picture is from his first vet visit, 3 months ago, but don't let it fool you; he's 66 pounds today! Sterling will steal your heart in seconds, and he is the most lovable dog I have ever seen. He loves to run with me, snuggle on the couch, and play fetch. My favorite thing about him is that he refuses to leave my side. Even when I'm doing work on the computer, he will be under my chair, sleeping on my feet. He's always happy, and loves to play with other dogs at the Bark Park in Westville as well :) Please vote for our sweet little guy! Vote for Sterling here!

Tonya Hiscox: This is Lucy. We rescued her when she was a little puppy & we couldn't ask for a better dog. She has so many funny qualities that you would swear she is part human. Riding in the car being one of them. She is the most gentle & loving dog. We love her to pieces. Vote for Lucy here!

Kristen Green: This is Deyogee aka(D.O.G) she has been a blessing to our household. She is so very playful and loving, and at 60pounds she thinks she's a lap dog. She lays on the back of the sofa like a giant cat and paws at your head. She is truly wonderful with our kids, and we couldn't have asked for a better Dog. Please vote for our Deyogee cause she has bought so much Love to all of us! Vote for Deyogee here!

Vicki Eskew: Jesse (German Pinscher) came into our lives a year ago after the loss of our beloved doberman. We drove all the way to West Virginia in a snow storm plus a flat tire to bring Jesse into our lives. He brings joy into our lives every day and makes us laugh at all the silly things he does. Nothing warms our hearts more than to be greeted at the door by Jesse and his wagging tail, wagging so hard his whole hind end shakes! Please vote for Jesse! Vote for Jesse here!

Jessica Timberlake: This is Thor. He is a rat terrier mix. He turned two on Halloween. Thor is special to me because he has such an amazing personality and is extremely photogenic. He never fails to make me laugh or smile. He smiles as well!! His favorite thing to do is play with his sisters (a chihuahua named roxy and a pitbull named Layla) he also chases my two cats around. Thor is just a big ball of energy and is so much fun to be around. I wouldn't trade him for the world! Vote for Thor here!

Melanie Fortson: This is Harley, our one-year-old Yorkiepoo. Harley came into our lives when she was four months old, and she has made a huge impact on our life. She's a lovable goofball - Her favorite toy is a water bottle, and she'll chew on anything that involves paper. She's a cuddler and loves to be held like a baby (she'll flop herself back when she's in your arms!) She is the sweetest girl in the world. We would be lost without her. Vote for Harley here!

Kati Hook: I have always wanted a French Bulldog and this Christmas Violet became part of my family. She is everything I could have imagined...a goofball, couch potato, a silent but deadly bomb dropper :), but most of all my fur baby that I couldn't imagine living without! Vote for Violet here!

Ashley Sornson: This is my dog Lacey! She is almost 2 in April! She is a beagle/boston terrier. About a year ago, my fiance and I had just moved into our house together and were searching for the perfect dog. I had never been a dog owner before so all of it was new to me. I came across an ad on Craigslist posted all the way down in Fishers, IN! I asked my fiance if we could take a road trip down there to see this dog, and he agreed. We drove 3 1/2 hours to see Lacey(I just had a feeling) as soon as I saw her she ran and jumped into my arms. It was love at first sight! Ever since then we have been inseparable. When she comes to bed, she paws my back so she can come under the covers. She's broken 2 sets of blinds from looking out the window to watch people. Her favorite toys are stuffless animals with squeakers and if you take it away from her, she will paw at you. She's amazing, and i'm so lucky to have her. Please vote for Lacey. Vote for Lacey here!

Amanda Frey: This is Lucky. He is 8 years old. He's the sweetest dog anyone could ever ask for. One of the funniest things Lucky does is when you give him a gift, he only wants the tissue paper. He runs away with it and is happy as can be. This picture is him on his birthday. I was holding tissue paper so I could get a good picture. Please vote for him!! Vote for Lucky here!

Nicole Sliger: This is our 9 month old weim, Murphy girl. It's hard to choose one reason why we love her... We love that she insists on sleeping in between us in bed. We love that she steals unopened cans of food (and potatoes) and hides them in her crate. We love that she treats her Kong like a security blanket. We love that is afraid of everything. We love that she lets out a big SIGH when she doesn't get what she wants. We love her so so much and couldn't imagine our life without her! Vote for Murphy girl here!
