Two races were set for the Boys Cross Country Team Oct. 2, 2010 at the DAC Conference Championships. Varsity ran first. The top 7 runners from the team were selected to run winning the race for Valpo. Quoting from Asst. Coach Arron Crague: "Vikings Victorious, capture first Duneland Athletic Conference Title in 8 years!!!" Great Job Valpo Boys XC. The Varsity runners were presented with blue ribbons at the awards ceremony.

Valparaiso Boys Junior Varsity XC also won the meet placing 1st-3rd places. Murray Banks, Xavier Reed and Danny Westmorland were the top 3 runners.

Next meet for Valpo Boys XC will be at SunSet Hill, Valpo Tues. Oct. 12. Boys run at 5:15pm. It is the Sectionals. They will be running the Chesterton Course. It is a PR course so the times should be fast. Come and cheer for Valparaiso High School Cross Country. The Season is coming to a close soon.
