Valparaiso Chapter 324 of STAR Touring and Riding Pumpkin Run

Members of the Valparaiso Chapter 324 of STAR Touring and Riding had their first Pumpkin Run on October 23rd, 2016. The goal of this motorcycle ride was to gather pumpkins from various pumpkin patches in the area and bring them to the residents of Golden Living Center of Valparaiso so they could decorate a pumpkin for the season.

Three pumpkin patches from Westville, Valparaiso, and Lowell donated 10 to 15 pumpkins each to the motorcycle group. STAR Touring and Riding is a family organization that promotes safe motorcycle riding, friendship, and charity. STAR chapter 324 would like to thank Coulter’s Farm (Westville), Horses Landscape Inc. and Garden Center (Valparaiso), and Kregel’s Pumpkin Patch (Lowell) for their generous donations.

Participants of the Pumpkin Run are Chapter President Patrick Hobbs, Bruce Baisden, Dan Hurd, and Brandon and Paula Baisden and sons Robert, Jacob, and Timothy Graves.
