August 6-15, 2012 - BFMS Orchestra Room
Beginning strings starts with Summer Orchestra Round-Up, offering instruction from August 6-15 on Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass to current 4th graders (students entering 5th grade in the fall of 2012). After the summer session, 5th grade strings meet twice per week during the school year.
All beginning students use the Essential Elements 2000 for Strings, Book 1, with accompanying CD. These may be purchased at Quinlan & Fabish.
Tuition for the summer session is $50.

Beginning students who rent from Quinlan & Fabish will have their instruments and materials sent to the high school for their first class in August. Those who cannot attend summer orchestra should contact Mr. Kopf ASAP to discuss options and alternatives for catch-up if needed.
Regular schedule for 5th grade strings starting in September (after Labor Day)
