Valparaiso Events is pleased to announce that three new members are joining its Board of Directors. Coming from small business, education, and nonprofit fields, the new members bring years of experience and leader ship to help guide and enhance the organization.
The new board members include:
- Kelly Anthony, JD, MBA, Director of Government and Community Relations, Office of the President, Valparaiso University
- Tom Rowland, CPA, Owner of Treehouse Financial, Inc.
- Lori Simon, Executive Director, Home Team Valpo, Inc.
A member of Delta Theta Tau philanthropic sorority and currently serving on the Hilltop Neighborhood House Board of Directors, Kelly Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge regarding community engagement and impact to the board. Active with the Indiana Small Business Development Center and a current board member for the Porter County Parks Foundation, Tom Rowland’s small business acumen and financial background enhance board expertise. Cycling off the Valparaiso Events Board of Directors are Jeanette Binder (Martin Binder Jeweler), Jim Jorgensen (Hoeppner Wagner & Evans LLP), and Patrick McGinley (Teachers Credit Union). Valpo Events is grateful for their many years of service and the invaluable time and expertise given to grow, sustain, and better the organization.
“We wouldn’t be where we are without the time and talents of Jeanette, Jim, and Pat,” said Mogck. “Valpo Events’ robust calendar of events and positive impact on the community are direct reflections of their many years of dedicated service.”
