The city of Valparaiso has launched its own facebook page, called Valparaiso Now. “We look forward to using facebook as another way of reaching the community,” said Mayor Jon Costas. “We see that people of all ages are connecting on facebook and recognize that it’s a way for us to quickly communicate,” he said. 
To visit the city’s facebook page, simply search “Valparaiso Now.” The city will post news of city activities and share photos of current events. Click “like” to become a fan to receive live updates. You can also keep in touch with Valparaiso on its web site, www.valpo.us.
