On Sunday, August 17, the Valparaiso Police Department’s Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 76 hosted their annual back to school Shop with a Cop Program. This year officers shopped with kids at the Target store in Valparaiso.
Officers assisted 24 kids with back to school supplies, including folders, note books, pencils, clothing and shoes.
Annually, just prior to school starting, Valparaiso Officers from the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 76 provide funding for kids to purchase items needed to return to school.
