First the first time, Valparaiso Police Officers will participate in “No Shave November” for charity. Officers pledge a particular amount of money to the United Way of Porter County and as a result can go the entire month of November without shaving.
The pledge is a monthly donation made for an entire year. Numerous officers with the Valparaiso Police Department will be participating this year in “No Shave November” for charity.
Currently, 18 officers will be participating. All officers will again be clean shaven on December 1st.
