Valparaiso Popcorn Festival Awards Grand Prize to Methodist Hospital Foundation!

Methodist-BelleThe Orville Redenbacher Parade kicked off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the 35th Annual Popcorn Festival in downtown Valparaiso. The festival, brought to you by Valparaiso Community Festivals & Events, included the two-hour parade and over 80 entries. This year’s parade featured spectacular floats made mostly of popcorn that were created by area organizations and businesses. The judges selected Methodist Hospital Foundation’s “Methodist Belle” as the grand prize winning float. The complete list of awards for the 2013 parade include:
