On July 22, The Valparaiso Post 94 participated in a four-team (double-elimination) Regional held in South Bend with the last game at Hobart HS. Yesterday, they just got back from Rockport for the Indiana State Tournament (8 teams-double elimination). They won their first two games over Rockport Post 254 (1-0) and Lafayette Post 11 (6-3). They were winning against Terre Haute Post 346 6-0 going into the 5th inning, but gave up one run in the 5th, 5 in the 6th and 2 in the 7th to lose 8-6. They lost 8-2 to Kokomo Post 6. Terre Haute beat Kokomo in the championship 2-0 so the Valparaiso Post 94 finished 3rd in the State.
