Valparaiso Soccer Player Scott Erwin is Lakeshore Public Television’s “Athlete of the Week”

Scott Erwin is Lakeshore Public Television’s “Athlete of the Week.” He scored two goals in a 7-3 win over Michigan City. Erwin maintains a 4.0 grade point average in addition to excelling in soccer. He graciously accepted his award. Valparaiso High School is 3-0 and ranked 7th in the state.

In an effort to commend high school athletes for successful performance on and off the field, Lakeshore News Tonight’s sports department, headed by prep sports expert Joe Arredondo, searches the region for outstanding student performers. Winners receive a custom plaque and a television interview to debut on each Thursday night’s Lakeshore News Tonight broadcast.
